While we all have a story to tell, not all desire to stand on a platform, pair music with lyrics or publicly motivate the next generation.  This is where Stories & Songs and the storytellers within thrive. Inspiring more and more people to step forward and share their story, experience or testimony.

The founders of Stories & Songs, Anthony & Missy McElroy, have been working, building and managing events for many years. With Missy’s music industry background & event planning experience, paired with Anthony’s years of sales & recruiting experience make for a power duo destined to bring events to life through musicians, speakers, songwriters and storytellers to inspire people young and old.

While they wouldn’t recommend moving from Tennessee to Texas in the middle of a pandemic, it gave them space to create, and margin to dream up ways to bring community together.  It gave people a purpose to gather together again. A downtown Christmas concert led to a songwriters round to raise needed funds for a local charity. With each event, volunteers stepped up and the community showed up. Singers became story tellers, story tellers sang songs, and community, well, they became community once again.
